BLOCK Builders completed the construction of a new enclosed connector between two existing buildings at Norpel’s Fish Island location to improve logistics and seafood transportation. The work included erecting a structural steel frame to bridge the gap, installing a new insulated metal wall and roofing work to create a fully weather-tight enclosure, pouring a new concrete slab and adding new overhead doors at both ends for controlled access. This project provides a protected, efficient pathway for transporting fish and seafood products back and forth between the facilities, reducing exposure to the elements while enhancing operational flow and productivity at the pier.
